We are looking for a CFO to lead the finance function of a fast-growing behavioral health services business (~$100M revenue) operating across multiple states and entering a new phase of expansion.
This is a build role for a hands-on finance leader who can create structure, scale the finance organization, and partner closely with the CEO and operators to drive performance, growth, and transaction readiness.
The business is actively investing in finance infrastructure, systems, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead finance (Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Cycle)
- Implement scalable systems, controls, and reporting
- Deliver accurate monthly financials and KPIs
- Partner with leadership on growth strategy and market expansion
- Drive margin improvement and operational insight
- Manage lender relationships, reporting, and compliance
- Lead financial diligence and support potential transactions
- Ensure audit and governance readiness
Profile
- 10+ years finance leadership in healthcare or multi-site services
- Prior CFO experience with meaningful P&L ownership ($75M+ preferred)
- Experience building or restructuring finance functions
- Private equity or high-growth environment exposure
- Strong technical accounting (CPA preferred)
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models a plus
Compensation includes base, bonus (25–50%).
