KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a high-growth, PE-backed energy and infrastructure company on a search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This organization is in a pre-revenue, build-and-scale phase, with significant private funding in place and plans for a major capital raise and future IPO.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, mid-career finance leader to step into a CFO role and build the finance function from the ground up while partnering closely with an experienced executive team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience in PE-backed, high-growth environments
Background in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or project finance
Strong expertise in financial modeling (infrastructure, CAPEX/OPEX, scenario analysis)
Experience supporting or leading capital raises and investor processes - required
Exposure to IPO or SPAC readiness strongly preferred
Industry experience in energy, infrastructure, or high-tech manufacturing required
Proven ability to build and scale finance functions
Strong leadership presence with ability to drive change and build teams
U.S. Citizenship required

Compensation: $225,000 – $275,000 plus bonus and equity
