We're an early-stage startup and we need someone to own our outbound engine end-to-end from building target lists to filling our executive's calendar with qualified calls. This is a high-ownership role where you'll be the first person running this function, with direct access to the founder. You'll set up the playbook, not inherit one.
What you'll do
- Own our outbound sales motion end-to-end: ICP research, list building, email sequences, campaign execution, reply management, meeting booking
- Set up and manage our outbound tech stack (Apollo, Instantly/Smartlead, email finders, CRM)
- Build and enrich targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and similar tools
- Write, test, and iterate on cold email copy and sequences
- Manage email infrastructure: sending domains, inbox warmup, deliverability monitoring (SPF/DKIM/DMARC)
- Handle inbound replies, qualify prospects, and book discovery calls on the Executives's calendar
- Track and report on key metrics: open rates, reply rates, meetings booked, pipeline generated
- Experiment with LinkedIn outreach and multi-channel sequences as we scale
What we're looking for
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in B2B outbound, SDR, or growth ops roles
- Has personally run cold email campaigns (not just managed a tool) - you should be able to tell us about a campaign you ran, what worked, what didn't
- Working knowledge of at least one sending platform (Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar)
- Understands email deliverability basics: domain warmup, SPF/DKIM/DMARC
- Strong written English - can write clear, conversational cold emails
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, basic data cleaning, and light automation (Zapier, Make, or Clay is a plus)
- Self-starter: you're being hired because you'll need to propose plans, not wait for direction
- Bonus: experience selling into US markets, familiarity with Clay or AI-based personalization tools
