Job Title: Business Operations Manager
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Business Operations Manager to drive day-to-day operations across teams. This role requires strong ownership, process thinking, and the ability to translate strategy into structured execution. You will be responsible for building scalable systems, improving workflows, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end execution of daily business operations across functions
- Manage and mentor teams across operations, reporting, PC, and AI
- Create, maintain, and enforce SOPs across all departments
- Drive process standardization and eliminate inefficiencies in workflows
- Oversee task management systems (e.g., Asana) to ensure clarity, ownership, and accountability
- Ensure all tasks have defined owners, timelines, and completion tracking
- Build and manage reporting systems to enable data-driven decision-making
- Regularly review reports to identify gaps, delays, and performance issues
- Establish a strong follow-up culture to ensure timely execution
- Enable seamless cross-functional coordination and task handoffs
- Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions
- Drive automation initiatives using AI tools and workflow platforms
- Collaborate with AI associates to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, systems, and learnings
- Maintain high standards of execution discipline and operational hygiene
- Act as a bridge between leadership strategy and on-ground execution
- Track team productivity and continuously improve output quality
- Build scalable systems and processes to support business growth
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business operations or a similar role, with team management experience
- Strong project management skills with hands-on experience in tools like Asana or Notion
- Ability to review and improve SOPs and process documentation
- Data-literate with the ability to analyse reports and derive actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ownership mindset with high accountability and follow-through
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make)
- Ability to collaborate with and guide AI-focused roles on automation initiatives
- Structured thinker with the ability to simplify complex workflows
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-ups environment
