About the role
The Sales Operations Manager acts as an organized and efficient professional who is flexible and able to wear multiple hats while working closely with cross-functional teams and prioritizing the business needs. This role focuses on strategic aspects of sales management and requires strong business sense and ability to understand commercial principles. The Sales Operations Manager is passionate about analysis, numbers and sales processes who drives for more efficient business practices. This role leads in number of Global processes & programs, leading, owning and drive for all sales needs & requirements. The role earns trust through communication and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has extensive experience in sales & the sales process – internal & external, with a view on areas of opportunities to improve.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Act as a visible and trusted business manager, driving execution of key priorities in an agile environment.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimise sales processes (e.g., offer approvals, order management, CRM data structuring).
• Lead and facilitate forecast calls, analyse historical data, validate pipeline quality, and challenge questionable opportunities.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting and analysis to assess business performance and sales effectiveness.
• Prepare and deliver Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews and sales performance reports.
• Provide insights on opportunity management to support deal velocity and act as a business advisor to the sales team.
• Partner with local sales teams to understand needs and ensure alignment with global processes and company priorities.
• Gather and monitor sales team feedback to drive process improvements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align commercial practices and identify opportunities for standardisation through analytics and reporting.
• Develop best practices to ensure high‑quality sales data aligned with company goals.
• Coach and support key CRM users across the organisation
Knowledge:
- Deep expertise in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Experience:
- 3–4+ years of sales operations experience, preferably in a B2B technology or software environment.
- Experience improving sales processes, automation, or analytics workflows.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to streamline reporting or planning processes.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and logical thinking with a data‑informed mindset.
- Ability to connect sales activities to broader business objectives.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Strong customer orientation and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with business stakeholders.

Qualifications:
