About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of our hospitality business. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial leadership, industry expertise, and the ability to drive business growth through effective planning and decision-making.
Job Description- Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and execution aligned with business objectives
- Analyze financial performance and drive cost control, revenue optimization, and profitability
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to management and stakeholders
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closures are completed accurately and on time
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, accounting policies, and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, investments, and overall cost management
- Identify financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Provide data-driven financial insights to support executive decision-making
- Partner with department heads for financial planning, budgeting, and cost control
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Oversee and coordinate legal and compliance matters related to financial and business operations
- Act as a key POC for investors, banks, auditors, and business partners
- Lead, guide, and develop the finance and accounting team
Key Requirements- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent from a renowned university/institution
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in finance and accounting
- At least 3 years as CFO / Head of Finance
- Preference for candidates from hospitality or restaurant chains
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, compliance, and risk management
- Proven leadership experience managing large finance teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
