Role SummaryWe are looking for a CFO who goes beyond finance.This role owns financial performance, organizational structure, and executive-level decision making across JoyRide Logistics. You will act as a bridge between finance, leadership, and people operations, ensuring the company scales with control, clarity, and accountability.This is not a back-office role.
You are here to drive decisions, enforce discipline, and align leadership.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Leadership
- Full ownership of P&L, cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting
- Implement strong financial controls and approval structures
- Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews
- Support strategic growth (fleet expansion, new terminals, acquisitions)
2. Executive Decision Support
- Act as a strategic partner to CEO/EVP
- Translate operational performance into financial impact
- Provide clear, direct recommendations — not just reporting
3. Organizational & HR Oversight (Strategic Level)
- Oversee HR from a decision-making and structural perspective
- Approve hiring plans, compensation structures, and org design
- Enforce KPI systems and accountability across departments
- Ensure alignment between leadership and execution teams
4. Operational Understanding
- Develop deep understanding of transportation/logistics operations
- Connect dispatch, planning, maintenance, and safety to financial outcomes
- Drive discipline across departments (no silos, clear ownership)
5. Trust, Governance & Control
- Establish clear rules for compensation, approvals, and performance
- Act as a neutral authority in sensitive decisions
- Build trust through consistency, not politics
- Ensure transparency across leadership and teams
Who You Are
- Experienced CFO (logistics/transportation strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead across finance, operations, and people
- Comfortable making and enforcing hard decisions
- Strong communicator with high emotional intelligence
- Structured, disciplined, and execution-focused
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-scaling environment
Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
