Job SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial operations, including financial planning, accounting, taxation, compliance, fundraising, and risk management.
The CFO will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, managing project financing, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring financial discipline across all real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals and expansion plans
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Support business growth, land acquisitions, and project feasibility analysis
- Establish strong financial systems, controls, and governance frameworks
2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & MIS- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor Actual vs Budget performance across projects and departments
- Deliver monthly MIS reports, financial dashboards, and strategic insights
- Conduct project profitability, ROI, and cost analysis
- Oversee weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting and working capital planning
3. Accounting & Financial Reporting- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations across projects and branches
- Ensure timely:
- General Ledger closure
- Trial Balance preparation
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Supervise:
- Revenue recognition as per project milestones
- Fixed asset accounting
- Inter-company and branch accounting
- Vendor, bank, and debtor reconciliations
- Finalize balance sheets and financial statements in coordination with auditors and management
4. Project Finance & Real Estate Financial Management- Manage project-wise budgeting, costing, and fund utilization
- Ensure milestone-based billing and demand generation
- Monitor customer collections, receivables, and debtor aging
- Plan and manage project funding, construction finance, and loan utilization
- Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Legal, Projects, and Corporate teams for financial alignment
5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance- Oversee compliance for:
- Income Tax
- GST
- TDS
- RERA financial regulations
- Lead:
- Tax planning and optimization strategies
- Income tax return filings
- Tax and statutory audits
- Handling scrutiny assessments and notices
6. Audits & Compliance- Lead and manage:
- Statutory audits
- Internal audits
- Tax audits
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
