Business Operations Manager (Growth & Expansion Focus)
Location: Chicagoland (Travel Required)
Compensation: Up to $100,000 base + performance incentives + full benefits package
About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing concrete floor coatings company in the Chicagoland area with active expansion plans across the Midwest, including a Wisconsin market launch this August.
We are hiring a Business Operations Manager to work directly with the owner and play a key role in day-to-day operations, process improvement, and market expansion.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who wants to learn the business inside and out, take ownership of outcomes, and help scale into new markets. You will be expected to think like a partner in how you approach problems and decisions—but operate with the accountability of a high-performing employee.
What You’ll Be Doing:
First 60–90 Days (Learn the Business)
- Work directly with ownership to understand operations, sales, and customer workflows
- Get hands-on exposure to field operations and service delivery
- Learn internal systems, processes, and performance metrics
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Next Phase (Execution & Expansion)
- Take ownership of operational initiatives and process improvements
- Support and help lead new market expansion efforts (starting with Wisconsin)
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and managing teams in new territories
- Help implement scalable systems to support growth
- Travel as needed to support launches and ongoing operations

Preferred:
- Experience in home services, construction, or similar industries
- Background in operations, sales, or business development
- Experience in a growing or scaling business environment

Compensation:
- Base Salary: Up to $100,000
