Role Description
We are seeking an Ex-Founder to join us as a Business Operations Lead. We need someone who has "been in the trenches" and understands that in a startup, no task is too small and no problem is too complex. You will serve as the glue of the company, managing internal operations, streamlining workflows, and executing special projects that drive the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Operational Architecture: Audit our current internal workflows (hiring, finance, team syncs) and build scalable systems to replace manual tasks.
- Special Projects: Take ownership of high-priority initiatives that fall between departments, ranging from setting up a new office to researching a new market entry.
- Leadership Support: Act as a sounding board for the founders, helping translate high-level vision into actionable internal tasks.
- Resource Management: Oversee vendor relationships, internal tools, and budget tracking to ensure the company is running lean and fast.
- Culture & Alignment: Ensure that as we scale, all teams are aligned with the company’s core objectives and operating rhythm.
Required
- Must be an Ex-Founder: You have previously started a venture, operated for at least 1 year and scaled up to 10 employees.(regardless of its outcome). You understand the "zero-to-one" journey.
- Generalist Mindset: You are comfortable jumping from a legal document to a marketing brainstorm to a financial spreadsheet in a single afternoon.
- Execution Machine: You don't just suggest ideas; you have a proven track record of getting things done with limited resources.
- High Emotional Intelligence: As a "mellowed-down Chief of Staff," you must navigate different team personalities with ease.
