Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the overall Finance & Accounts function across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a CA-qualified professional with 25+ years of progressive experience, including at least 10 years in a CFO capacity, preferably within MSME or mid-sized organizations (₹50–500 Cr turnover).
This role requires a strong blend of strategic leadership, operational excellence, financial governance, and entrepreneurial mindset. The CFO will play a critical role in driving business growth, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring robust compliance and risk management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with CEO and Board to define and execute long-term business and financial strategy
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all business units
- Provide strategic recommendations on growth, investments, and cost optimization
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Develop financial models, scenario planning, and performance dashboards
- Present MIS, insights, and business performance reports to leadership
3. Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and consolidations
- Ensure timely closure of books (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Maintain accuracy in financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Manage cash flows, working capital, and fund utilization efficiently
- Monitor financial risks, liquidity, and capital structure
- Strengthen treasury operations and banking relationships
5. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act)
- Lead internal, statutory, and tax audits
- Establish strong internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor a large finance team (15–25 members across levels)
- Build high-performance culture and succession planning
- Collaborate with business heads and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, consultants)
7. Business & Operational Excellence
- Provide insights into operational efficiencies and cost control
- Support business expansion, fundraising, and investment decisions
- Drive digital transformation and ERP optimization (Tally, Zoho, or similar systems)
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Experience
- 25+ years in Finance & Accounts
- Minimum 10 years as CFO or equivalent leadership role
- Experience in MSME / mid-sized organizations (₹50–500 Cr turnover preferred)
