Role Overview
Fidelia Counseling Services is entering another phase of rapid institutional scaling. We are seeking a strategic Fractional CFO to help transition our agency from an executive-centralized model to a system-driven healthcare organization.
As we expand our clinical team and intake infrastructure, the CFO will be responsible for building the high-level financial framework required to manage multi-tiered state contracts, clinical payroll (ADP), and long-term fiscal health.
Key Responsibilities
- Institutional Scaling: Transition the agency’s financial infrastructure from founder-led management to a professional, automated, and scalable system.
- Contract Strategy: Develop financial models to track and optimize performance for state contracts, ensuring high data integrity and compliance.
- Strategic Budgeting: Create a yearly \"anchor\" budget and rolling quarterly forecasts to guide the CEO through rapid team expansion and new site development.
- Operational Audit: Oversee the accuracy of QuickBooks Online and ADP integrations, ensuring tax-optimized mapping and \"best-in-class\" reporting.
- Continuity & Risk Management: Serve as the senior financial advisor for agency stability, continuity planning, and long-term institutional readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of senior financial leadership (CFO or Controller level).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with Healthcare reimbursement cycles and state-level contract management is strongly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and ADP

- Education: CPA or MBA preferred.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099).
- Structure: Fee-for-Service (Hourly or Monthly Retainer).
- Privacy: This role requires a signed NDA and includes high-level strategic advisory directly to the CEO.
