Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead risk analysis initiatives, ensuring effective risk management practices are in place to mitigate potential financial threats.
- Manage treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize financial resources.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense control, cost management, and revenue cycle management to ensure fiscal discipline across departments.
- Oversee Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new entities seamlessly.
- Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks to uphold internal controls and audit readiness.
- Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports, interpret complex financial data for senior leadership, and communicate insights effectively to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage payroll operations, supply chain finance, and governmental accounting functions while maintaining adherence to relevant regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial software utilization, automation processes, and technical accounting practices.
Skills
- Extensive experience in corporate finance, including revenue management, profit & loss analysis, and fiscal management.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as cost control, cost accounting, tax accounting, and financial modeling.
- Proven expertise in risk analysis, risk management strategies, regulatory compliance (including ASC 606 standards), and internal control frameworks like COSO.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing senior teams across finance functions with excellent supervision skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software applications supporting GAAP/IFRS reporting standards.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with business development acumen to foster strategic partnerships.
- Deep understanding of governmental accounting practices and supply chain finance considerations.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately while providing clear guidance for business planning and forecasting.
- Strong technical accounting skills with experience in public accounting environments preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for writing comprehensive financial reports and presenting findings confidently at executive levels. Pay: $88,438.45 - $106,506.52 per year
