- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other regulatory frameworks such as ASC 606 and COSO.
- Lead risk analysis initiatives, including risk management, SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and regulatory reporting to safeguard organizational assets.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
- Direct mergers & acquisitions activities, conducting due diligence, valuation assessments, negotiations, and integration planning to support business development efforts.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret complex data sets, and communicate insights clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders for strategic planning purposes.
- Oversee budgeting processes, expense management, cost control initiatives, and profit & loss analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
- Supervise finance teams responsible for payroll management, supply chain finance, governmental accounting compliance, and technical accounting functions such as cost accounting and tax accounting. Skills
- Extensive experience with financial software systems and advanced proficiency in financial modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, COSO internal controls framework, and governmental accounting practices.
- Proven expertise in risk analysis, regulatory reporting requirements, treasury management, and revenue cycle management.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience supervising finance teams across multiple functions including payroll management and expense oversight.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately and provide strategic insights.
- Skilled in negotiation, business development strategies, and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of market analysis techniques coupled with strategic planning capabilities to guide organizational growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of fiscal management principles including budgeting, forecasting, cost control measures, and profit & loss optimization.
