POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Business Operations Manager is responsible for managing the logistics, processes, and resources that enable individuals and teams to operate efficiently and effectively across the organization. The role will also lead the marketing and office management functions, with some direct reporting responsibility, and will also include extensive collaboration with the Navacord corporate support team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :
General Office Operations
- Manage general day-to-day office logistics across HO and branches, engaging with different business teams on a cross functional basis.
Facilitaties and Asset Management
- Physical premises upkeep/maintenance including point of contact for staff support across all offices.
- Physical asset lifecycle management.
- Lease point-of-contact and administration across all premises.
- Coordination of service providers for all facilities.
Vendor and Supply Chain Management and Optimization
- Supply chain process management and ongoing optimization.
Marketing and Promotions
- Manage marketing and advertising initiatives with support from in-house marketing (graphic design) and Navacord marketing resources, in accordance with established marketing strategy.
- Coordinate marketing events and promotions with partner associations and industry bodies.
- Manage production and administration of marketing collateral.
- Client/market corporate communications transmittals.
- Supervise and direct in-house marketing personnel.
- Other marketing duties as assigned.
Process Management
- Ongoing process/workflow optimization.
- Shared drive document and file management.
- Lead internal Process Enhancement Team.
- Process change management leadership.
- Develop and implement AI strategy in collaboration with IT Manager and business leaders.
Data Management
- Coordination and oversight of data management, and key metric and KPI reporting and analysis.
- Collaboration with leadership team on data-driven business optimization.
EPIC Administrator and Champion User
- Serve as the company’s EPIC Champion, supporting staff in-house and liaising with Navacord EPIC support.
- Manage workflows & upgrades, implement changes and ensure consistency and compliance.
Business Development Support
- Industry associations/events coordination and support of team participation and company promotional initiatives.
- Association membership administration and coordination.
- Collaboration with BD team in achieving BD objectives.
Culture & Events
- Promote a collaborative and cohesive team environment with high employee engagement.
- Participation on Culture Committee.
- Event planning support.
- Support execution of company's social and community responsibility objectives.
- Lead the Company’s Employee Recognition Program.
Carrier Administrative Management
- Maintain carrier agreement and documents administration, including changes/addendums, new carriers, CPC’s and data metrics.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Minimum 3 years of operations management experience in an insurance based business.
- Preference given to candidates with commercial insurance brokering experience.
- Ability to be a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, and preference given to candidates with EPIC experience.
- Preference given to candidates with Project Management experience/qualifications.
