Role Overview
VITS Kamats Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced, strategic, and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the overall financial management, compliance, budgeting, and business planning functions of the organization.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, hospitality industry exposure, and expertise in financial planning, controls, profitability management, audits, taxation, and business strategy. The role requires close coordination with management for driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, and long-term organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the overall financial strategy and planning for the organization
- Support management in strategic business decisions and expansion planning
- Drive profitability, financial efficiency, and long-term financial sustainability
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and growth strategies
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Conduct budget vs actual analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management
- Ensure financial discipline across all units and departments
Accounting & Financial Control
- Oversee accounting operations, MIS, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and reporting systems
- Monitor internal controls and financial governance practices
- Strengthen financial processes, SOPs, and compliance systems
Taxation, Audit & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PT, PF, ESIC, and statutory regulations
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities
- Lead internal and external audits across the organization
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance documentation
Hospitality Financial Operations
- Monitor hotel-wise profitability, operational costs, and revenue performance
- Analyze food cost, beverage cost, payroll cost, and operational expenses
- Support commercial negotiations, contracts, and business agreements
- Provide financial insights for hotel operations and expansion projects
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and mentor finance and accounts teams across units
- Build strong financial accountability and reporting culture
- Coordinate with operations, HR, legal, and management teams for business alignment
- Drive performance management and team development initiatives

Requirements
- Preferably CA (Chartered Accountant)
- MBA Finance or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum 12-18 years of experience in Finance & Accounts leadership roles
- Hospitality / Hotel industry experience preferred
- Experience handling multi-unit or chain operations preferred
- Strong exposure to audits, compliance, taxation, and financial controls
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel if required
