Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape financial strategies, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to foster growth and stability.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant standards such as ASC 606 and COSO frameworks.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business development initiatives and operational efficiency.
- Manage revenue cycle processes including revenue management, cost control, expense management, and profit & loss analysis.
- Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and risk analysis to optimize financial resources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements across governmental accounting standards and manage internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.
- Oversee financial report writing and interpretation for senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Lead negotiations related to mergers & acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships, and other business development opportunities.
- Implement robust risk management practices covering market analysis, supply chain considerations, cost management, and financial software systems.
- Supervise teams responsible for payroll management, technical accounting functions such as cost accounting and tax accounting, as well as financial modeling efforts.
Experience
- MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting departments with extensive supervisory experience.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance principles including fiscal management, cost control, and revenue cycle management.
- Hands-on experience with SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, IFRS/IAS standards, GAAP regulations, and COSO internal control frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), business analysis, market analysis, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Strong background in governmental accounting practices when applicable; familiarity with supply chain finance is a plus.
- Skilled in financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, financial report interpretation & writing for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with advanced financial software systems coupled with excellent analysis skills for forecasting and scenario modeling.
