💼 Role Description
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a full-time, on-site position based on our operational floor in Columbus, OH, responsible for owning and advancing the organization’s end-to-end revenue strategy. This role leads all go-to-market functions, including sales, revenue operations, and pipeline development, to drive sustainable growth in a highly consultative, mission-driven financial services environment.
The CRO will design and execute revenue plans, set and manage performance targets, build and refine sales processes, and oversee the full revenue funnel from initial lead to long-term account expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding the sales team, collaborating with marketing and underwriting to align messaging and product positioning, and using data to optimize pricing, conversion rates, and portfolio quality. The CRO will also represent the organization with key partners, develop strategic relationships in the lending and legal ecosystems, and ensure revenue practices are consistent with the company’s commitment to ethical, transparent funding solutions.

- Ecosystem Scaling: Provide strategic direction and high-level oversight for the sales, marketing, and revenue operations infrastructure.
- Funnel Optimization: Maximize capital deployment across multi-channel inbound pipelines, optimizing conversion velocity and portfolio health.
- Process Enforcement: Standardize sales methodologies and compliance metrics according to institutional standards.
- Talent Development: Mentor and develop elite closer talent, fostering a strict culture of execution velocity and quantitative truth.
🎓 Qualifications
- Sales Leadership: Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Operations, including building scalable sales processes, setting quotas, and managing full-funnel performance.
- Pipeline Creation: Proven ability in Lead Generation and pipeline development, with experience designing programs that attract high-quality, mission-aligned prospects.
- Client Retention: Strong background in Account Management, with a focus on retention, cross-sell, and long-term client value creation.
- Macro Strategy: Advanced Strategic Planning skills, including revenue forecasting, market segmentation, and development of go-to-market strategies.
- Industry Domain: Leadership experience overseeing revenue teams in financial services, Merchant Cash Advances (MCA), commercial lending, or related B2B debt restructuring environments.
- Data Proficiency: Data-driven decision-making skills, with deep comfort utilizing advanced CRM setups and analytics tools to track KPIs and optimize performance.
- Communication Execution: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities across internal teams and external partners.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is beneficial.
