Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPQ Architect to support digital transformation blueprint initiatives for a leading IT organization. This role will be instrumental in defining the future-state quoting and configuration architecture across sales and services functions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
- Define target-state CPQ architecture integrating SAP S/4HANA, Siemens Team Center PLM, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Establish scalable and future-ready configuration and quoting frameworks.
Configuration Modeling
- Design guided selling and configuration processes to replace manual, tribal-knowledge-based workflows.
- Drive significant reductions in manual configuration effort through automation and intelligent design.
Integration Design
- Architect CPQ-to-PLM integration strategies, including BOM synchronization and engineering change management.
- Define integration pathways between Team Center, SAP S/4HANA, and CPQ platforms.
Multi-Channel Quoting
- Support complex commercial quoting for highly configured systems as well as transactional quoting for spares, upgrades, and service offerings.
Blueprint & Advisory Support
- Deliver L4–L6 future-state process designs and CPQ-related system requirements.
- Contribute to vendor evaluation, platform selection criteria, and RFP development.
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing or architecting SAP CPQ or comparable enterprise CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Conga CPQ).
- Strong understanding of SAP Variant Configuration (VC/AVC) concepts and migration approaches.
- Hands-on experience with PLM-to-CPQ integrations.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA sales and order management processes.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments such as semiconductor, aerospace, or industrial equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens Team Center or similar PLM solutions.
- Exposure to non-standard request workflow design within CPQ platforms.
- Understanding of pricing governance, contract pricing, regional pricing harmonization, and proration models.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM integration patterns.
- Experience working with complex configured products in semiconductor capital equipment or similar industries.
Engagement Details
- On-site Requirement: Periodic client visits to Fremont, CA (approximately 2–3 days per month, if required)

About the Project
This is a post-RFP advisory engagement focused on building a future-state blueprint covering opportunity-to-cash, spares operations, field service, and knowledge management. CPQ is a key architectural component that will influence CRM strategy, SAP S/4HANA integration sequencing, and overall digital transformation success.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
