Job Requirements
- 8-10+ years of progressive program management, project management, or portfolio management experience, including leadership of complex enterprise initiatives
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a PMO, healthcare operations, or large matrixed organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare delivery, healthcare operations, and/or IT delivery environments
- Strong knowledge of portfolio management practices, enterprise reporting, governance, and project portfolio management tools
- Ability to influence senior leaders, manage risk, and communicate effectively in executive settings
- PMP preferred; PgMP, PfMP, SAFe, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs aligned with strategic organizational priorities
- Provide governance leadership and serve as a senior point of contact for high-impact healthcare transformation initiatives
- Partner with executive stakeholders to guide decision-making, resolve barriers, and escalate risks as needed
- Oversee delivery execution across assigned portfolios to ensure alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and quality expectations
- Lead capacity planning, project assignments, and resource balancing across a matrixed environment
- Facilitate project status reviews, escalation management, and delivery recovery planning
- Mentor and develop project management leaders, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Develop and track performance metrics related to delivery health, value realization, and portfolio outcomes
- Drive adoption of delivery standards, governance frameworks, and integrated project management tools
- Champion change management and benefits realization as core components of enterprise delivery
