Metris is here to change - we’re building Agentic AI for real energy assets. At Metris, we're on a mission to maximise every KW of energy capacity on the grid with AI. Since launch in 2025, Metris we’ve scaled rapidly and we now manage 10,000+ solar projects across the UK, automating monitoring, fault detection, O&M and billing with AI.

The Role
We're expanding into Germany and are looking for a Founding GTM Lead to own our market entry from day one. This is not a traditional sales role. You'll be responsible for building and validating our entire go-to-market motion in Germany: understanding the market, shaping positioning, generating demand, winning early customers, developing partnerships, and creating the foundations for a scalable commercial engine.
You'll work directly with the founders to determine how Metris wins in Germany. Initially, you'll spend significant time speaking with customers, refining our messaging, building relationships, and closing early deals. Over time, you'll turn those learnings into repeatable processes, scalable channels, and eventually a high-performing local team. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable conducting customer discovery interviews, shaping product strategy, building partnerships, and closing enterprise deals.
What You'll Do
- Lead Metris' market entry strategy for Germany
- Validate and refine positioning, messaging, and pricing for the German market
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product roadmap and strategic priorities
- Build a proprietary pipeline from scratch through outbound, partnerships, industry networks, and creative GTM initiatives
- Design and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies across email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and industry associations
- Identify hiring needs and help build the future German GTM team
- Establish a repeatable, predictable revenue engine that can scale beyond founder-led selling
Who We're Looking For
- 4–8 years of experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, energy technology, or a similar high-growth environment; Bonus: experience in climate tech
- Experience owning commercial outcomes end-to-end, from customer discovery through to revenue generation; Bonus: previous founder experience
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity and build new initiatives from scratch
- Strong commercial instincts combined with strategic thinking
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
