Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for leading the organization's financial strategy, planning, reporting, risk management, and overall financial performance. The CFO will partner closely with executive leadership and subsidiary leaders to drive profitability, support business growth, optimize operations, and ensure strong financial governance across a complex portfolio of businesses.
This role requires a strategic yet hands-on finance executive with deep expertise in federal construction and government contracting environments. The ideal candidate will bring a proven ability to align financial strategy with operational objectives, improve business performance, lead high-performing teams, and support scalable growth in a dynamic, multi-entity organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Drive profitability, cash flow optimization, and long-term financial sustainability.
- Oversee financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and audit activities.
- Manage financial and operational risk while supporting strategic growth initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to improve performance and decision-making.
- Lead capital allocation, working capital management, and financial analysis efforts.
- Drive financial systems improvements, process optimization, and reporting enhancements.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance organization.
