Role Description:
This is a true 0-to-1 role.
India's SME software market is being rewritten - AI is overhauling how SaaS works, and the old playbook of how businesses discover and buy software is breaking. We're not iterating on an existing machine. We're building the new one.
You will own SoftwareHunt's go-to-market — both sides of it: how the right businesses discover and trust us, and how the best software companies want to be part of what we're building. You'll work directly with the founder, turning deep industry access into the narratives, channels, and systems that make SoftwareHunt the name business owners follow.
There is no playbook waiting for you here. There is a vision, real traction, an unfair distribution advantage, with the room to build. You won't be handed metrics; you'll build the channels and discover which metrics matter as they come alive.
What you'll do:
- Own and build our GTM channels — take what's live and make it compound; launch what's next, in a sequence the business can absorb.
- Turn access into narratives — sit close to real businesses and real product founders, and convert what you see into stories, comparisons, and frameworks that make business owners stop and think.
- Shape the brand — an authoritative, objective, trusted voice. An independent guide, never a promotional platform.
- Build the engine, not just the output — create the systems, cadences, and quality bars that let a lean team (in-house creators + on-call specialists) consistently ship work that lands.
- Work the full funnel — from how someone first hears of us to how they end up in a conversation with us. You think in journeys, not posts.
Who you are:
- You live in the B2B software and AI space
- You've owned go-to-market before and built it from scratch.
- You think in marketplaces and distribution, where getting two sides to move is the real problem.
- You've shipped something real, at a company or your own, that you can point to.
- You understand the Indian SME space and the business owner mindset.
- You have a 0-to-1 mindset: excited to build from scratch, experiment, and iterate, and comfortable with the ambiguity and hands-on execution an early stage demands.
This role is not for you if:
- If the way SaaS and AI today are breaking the old rulebook on how businesses discover and adopt solutions doesn't excite you
- Your GTM experience is entirely enterprise - long cycles, big accounts.
- You've only done one slice eg performance marketing, content, a single channel, and want to keep doing that.
- You need a settled playbook and someone to tell you what's next at every step.
- You want a team to delegate everything to from Day 1
