We’re hiring a Chief Financial Officer at Esperanza Health Center.
For more than 35 years, Esperanza has provided faith-based, bilingual primary care and wellness services to North Philadelphia, caring for nearly 16,000 patients a year regardless of their ability to pay.
We’re looking for a CFO who sees finance as ministry: someone who can keep our organization strong so we can keep our doors open to the families who need us most.
In this role, you will:
🔹 Partner with our CEO, leadership team, and Board as a strategic voice in our growth
🔹 Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting
🔹 Steward federal and private grants, including HRSA 330 and Ryan White
🔹 Lead our annual audit and strengthen internal controls and financial systems
🔹 Develop and mentor a dedicated finance team
Who we’re looking for: a seasoned finance leader with 5+ years of financial management experience. Experience in an FQHC or healthcare setting, grants management, and medical billing is a strong plus. You communicate numbers in a way boards and clinicians understand, and you’re drawn to a Christ-centered, multicultural workplace.
