For our client, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a mission-driven environment.
Location: Dallas, TX - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $300,000 – $350,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Partner with CEO and senior leadership to shape and execute financial strategy
- Serve as a thought partner to identify opportunities to modernize financial systems
- Lead design and implementation of forward-looking financial models for strategic decisions
- Champion continuous improvement culture leveraging data and technology
- Contribute to enterprise-wide strategy and decision-making as an Executive Team member
- Lead annual budgeting and long-term planning in collaboration with leaders
- Oversee cash flow and capital planning to ensure financial sustainability
Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent experience preferred
- 12+ years of progressive financial leadership in complex or growing organizations
- Demonstrated success in financial transformation, including systems implementation and process improvement
- Experience with a blended revenue model and diverse funding streams preferred
- Strong understanding of data, technology, and analytics in enhancing financial decision-making
