The opportunity
We're looking for our first GTM hire to take Opmaint from founder-led sales to a repeatable revenue engine. You'll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders, own revenue end-to-end from first touch to retention, and make the calls that define how this company goes to market for years. Opmaint is a mobile-first CMMS changing how manufacturing plants, warehouses, and facilities run their operations — 95% of teams on Opmaint report improved task planning and execution. The product works. Your job is to make sure the market knows it. This role is in person in Chennai, five days a week.
What you'll own
- Revenue, 0 to 1. Self-serve signups and conversion, the first repeatable outbound motion, early pipeline and ARR, retention and expansion. You'll run deals yourself before you ever hire someone to run them for you.
- The GTM playbook. ICP definition, messaging, pricing, and channel strategy — tested hands-on, documented, and ready to scale when the time comes.
- GTM engineering. Build a lean, agent-powered growth stack (CRM, enrichment, outbound automation, content systems) that lets a team of one operate like a team of ten. You'll decide what we build in-house and what we run through specialist GTM partners — agencies like Workflows.io that deliver outbound, RevOps, and LinkedIn content engines as a service — so we buy leverage instead of headcount.
- Marketing from zero. Founder-brand content, early demand channels, and the first experiments that tell us where our buyers actually live.
- Sales and CX. Pricing, evaluation, and expansion strategy across maintenance, reliability, and operations teams — plus the early customer relationships that shape the product.
- The story. Shape how the market understands modern, mobile-first maintenance software — and why the era of clunky legacy CMMS is over.
Who you are
- A nose for distribution. You know which channel will work before the data says so, and you know when to kill one that won't. You've built a demand engine from scratch — or been employee #1–10 on a team that did.
- A simplifier. Most leaders add. You subtract. You can look at a tangled funnel or a messy process and find the one move that makes everything else obvious. You are hands-on-keyboard: writing sequences, building Clay tables, pulling SQL, posting on LinkedIn.
- Deep sense of urgency. Every industrial operation is re-evaluating how it manages maintenance right now. The window is open and we're playing to win.
- A builder, not a manager (yet). You may not have run every GTM function, but you understand the revenue levers holistically and you'd rather do the work than delegate it. When we do hire, you'll set the bar.
- Resourceful with leverage. You know how to get big-company output from a small-company budget — AI tooling, automation, and external partners — and how to manage those partners to outcomes, not activity.
What you'll get
- A career-defining story. You'll build Opmaint's GTM from a blank page — the playbook, the stack, the first wins — and grow into the leadership seat as the team grows around you.
- Direct access to the founders. You'll work with them daily; they'll push you to take big bets and back you if you fail.
- A product customers love, with teams in manufacturing, warehousing, and facilities reporting real operational gains from day one.
- Real ownership. As the first GTM hire, your fingerprints will be on every deal, every channel, and every strategic decision. This role grows into Head of GTM as we scale.
