About the Role
We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead our accounting department. You will own the accuracy of our financial reporting and help guide company spending decisions.
This is a leadership role in a fast-growing company. You will come in, find ways to improve how we work, make those changes happen, and see them through to completion.
What You'll Do
Financial Accuracy
You will make sure we know exactly how much money we make or lose every month.
You will set up systems and processes so we can see profit and loss at three levels:
- By Division — We operate multiple divisions that run separately. You will report results for each.
- By Product — We manufacture multiple product lines. You will break down profit and loss for each product so we know which ones make money.
- By Facility — We operate multiple facilities across regions. You will track costs and profit for each location so we know how each one performs.
Process Improvement
You will look at how we currently run accounting. You will find problems and inefficiencies. You will propose better ways to work.
You will lead the team through changes. You will make sure changes stick and deliver real results.
Financial Leadership
You will advise the executive team on how to spend money. When we look at new projects, facilities, or equipment, you will help us understand the financial impact.
You will work with the CEO and COO on budgets, forecasts, and major spending decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Leadership skill — You can manage and develop an accounting team.
- Systems thinking — You understand how to design financial reporting systems that work at scale.
- Execution focus — You don't just identify problems. You implement solutions and follow through.
- Clear communication — You can explain financial data to non-finance leaders.
- Ownership mentality — You care about accuracy and take responsibility for results.
- Experience in manufacturing or operations — You understand the complexity of multi-facility businesses with product-level margins.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience leading accounting teams
- Experience building P&L reporting systems
- CPA or equivalent qualification
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations strongly preferred
