Next Level Group is partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization in Central Prince Edward Island to recruit an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

About the Role
Reporting directly to the President, the Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership while overseeing all financial operations of the organization. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will help shape business strategy, improve financial performance, and support continued organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's overall financial strategy and planning.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounting operations, internal controls, and financial systems.
- Develop financial models and business analysis to support operational decision-making.
- Oversee banking relationships, treasury, investments, and financial risk management.
- Provide executive oversight of payroll, benefits, and pension administration.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- CPA designation required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Chief Financial Officer or senior financial leadership role.
- Public accounting background is considered a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and corporate governance.
- Experience in manufacturing or another complex operational environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems experience.
