Licensing & Sales Operations Specialist
Fixed-Term Contract (to 18 December 2026, with potential extension)
Alexandria, Sydney NSW | Full-time
Love getting the details right?
Some people love selling.
Others love making sure everything works flawlessly behind the scenes.
If you're the kind of person who catches the wrong SKU before it reaches a customer, spots an expiring subscription before anyone else notices, and enjoys bringing order to complexity, we'd love to hear from you.
At Virtu, we're passionate about helping Australian organisations embrace technology with confidence. Since 2003, we've partnered with leading technology vendors including Microsoft, Apple, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, Adobe, CrowdStrike, Jamf and many more, delivering cloud, AI, cybersecurity and workplace solutions to corporate, education and government customers across Australia.
As we enter our busiest quarter of the year, we're looking for a Licensing & Sales Operations Specialist to join our team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience during a high-growth period.
What you'll be doing
Working closely with our sales team, distributors and technology partners, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every order, renewal and licensing request is processed accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing our licensing and sales support inbox, ensuring customer requests are actioned promptly.
- Preparing accurate software and hardware quotations using our quoting platform.
- Processing licensing orders, renewals and subscription co-terms across multiple vendors.
- Registering AppleCare, coordinating RMAs and completing vendor administration.
- Working across distributor and vendor portals including Microsoft CSP, Adobe, Jamf, Dicker Data, Ingram Micro, Synnex and others.
- Supporting our Account Managers during year-end purchasing and the education back-to-school season.
- Following documented processes while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters.
You'll likely have experience in IT sales support, procurement, licensing administration or reseller operations, and you'll be someone who:
- Has exceptional attention to detail.
- Works quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Is organised, proactive and dependable.
- Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and distributors.
- Enjoys solving problems and taking ownership.
- Is comfortable working with Microsoft 365, CRM systems and quoting platforms.
Highly regarded
- Experience working for an IT reseller or Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Microsoft CSP licensing knowledge.
- Experience with Adobe, Apple, Jamf, Google Workspace, Sophos or Fortinet licensing.
- Familiarity with distributor portals including Dicker Data, Ingram Micro and Synnex.
Don't worry if you don't tick every box—we value attitude, willingness to learn and attention to detail just as much as experience.
Why join Virtu?
We're proud to be a people-first technology company where great culture and great customer experiences go hand in hand.
When you join Virtu, you'll enjoy:
- A structured onboarding and comprehensive knowledge base.
- Support from an experienced and collaborative team.
- Exposure to leading global technology vendors.
- Modern systems and well-documented processes.
- Direct access to leadership with opportunities to contribute ideas and improvements.
- A genuine opportunity for your contract to be extended, or potentially transition into a permanent role, depending on business needs and performance.
Salary & Contract
- $55,000–$75,000 + Super (pro-rata), depending on experience.
- Full-time fixed-term contract.
- Commencing mid-October 2026.
- Initial contract through to 18 December 2026, with the possibility of extension following review.
