They are now seeking an exceptional Deputy CFO to join the executive leadership team at a pivotal stage in the company's evolution. Working closely with the CFO, CEO, Board, and Private Equity sponsors, this individual will play a central role in shaping financial strategy, driving M&A activity, enhancing operational performance, and supporting the delivery of long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with the CFO, CEO, Board, and investors to support the delivery of the Group's strategic and financial objectives.
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across a rapidly growing, multi-entity organisation.
- Overseeing core finance operations, including financial reporting, treasury, cash flow, tax, audit, compliance, and financial controls.
- Supporting the execution of the Group's buy-and-build strategy through acquisitions, including financial due diligence, valuation, transaction execution, financing, and integration.
- Driving the successful integration of acquired businesses and ensuring the delivery of operational and financial synergies.
- Enhancing finance systems, reporting capabilities, and governance frameworks to support continued growth and scalability.
- Producing high-quality Board and investor reporting, while managing relationships with shareholders, lenders, and external advisers.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, business transformation programmes, refinancing activities, and future exit readiness.
- Developing and mentoring a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CPA, Expert-Comptable, or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Deputy CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within a Private Equity-backed environment.
- Strong track record supporting high-growth, acquisitive businesses and delivering value creation initiatives.
- Significant M&A experience, including transaction execution, due diligence, integration, and post-deal value delivery.
- Previous experience within insurance brokerage, insurance services, or a closely related financial services environment is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Experience working closely with Boards, Private Equity investors, lenders, and external advisers.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at executive level.
- Experience supporting business transformation, financing activities, or exit preparation would be advantageous.
- Native French speaker with fluent English
