Choovio is looking for a highly organized, adaptable, and motivated Business Operations Coordinator to join our growing technology company.
No previous experience with IoT, sensors, gateways, or technical products is required. We provide training.
What matters most is that you are comfortable learning new things, working with modern business tools, solving problems, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of important details.
This is a varied role that combines order coordination, customer and vendor communication, inventory and fulfillment support, documentation, business systems, and continuous process improvement.
Some days will involve customer emails, vendor follow-ups, purchase orders, and spreadsheets. Other days may include preparing shipments, organizing inventory, learning about new products, improving a workflow, or helping the team launch a new process.
The right person will not be expected to know everything on day one. We are looking for someone who is curious, dependable, eager to learn, and interested in building a long-term career with the company.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate customer orders from receipt through preparation, shipment, and delivery
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, questions, delays, and next steps
- Follow up with vendors and manufacturers regarding availability, pricing, lead times, and shipments
- Maintain accurate order, inventory, purchasing, shipment, and follow-up records
- Pick, inspect, label, pack, and prepare products for shipment
- Verify item numbers, quantities, accessories, addresses, and other important order details
- Use email, spreadsheets, purchasing portals, shipping platforms, accounting tools, and internal business systems
- Process purchase orders, invoices, returns, credits, vendor documents, and operational records
- Help organize inventory and maintain an efficient fulfillment area
- Learn the basic purpose and use of the products Choovio sells
- Assist customers with basic product and order-related questions after training
- Work closely with sales, purchasing, fulfillment, management, and other team members
- Keep detailed notes and follow-up records so important tasks do not get missed
- Identify recurring problems and suggest practical ways to improve workflows
- Support new products, services, systems, and projects as the company grows
- Assist with other business and administrative responsibilities when needed
Who Will Succeed in This Role
This position may be a strong fit for you if you:
- Enjoy learning new software, products, tools, and processes
- Are comfortable with technology even when you have not used a particular system before
- Can manage several priorities without losing track of important details
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
- Take ownership of tasks and follow through until they are completed
- Ask thoughtful questions rather than guessing
- Are dependable, punctual, and organized
- Work well independently while also being a supportive team member
- Stay calm and practical when priorities change
- Enjoy solving problems and finding better ways to organize work
- Are willing to help wherever needed in a growing small-business environment
