Role Description The Director of Business Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY. This role oversees daily business operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth end-to-end processes. The director will design and implement operational frameworks, optimize workflows, and manage budgets, reporting, and financial performance. Responsibilities include developing and tracking KPIs, leading cross-functional projects and programs, and partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives. The role also involves supervising staff, refining business processes for scalability, and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Operations and Program Management skills, with experience overseeing end-to-end processes and cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated Business Process Improvement capabilities, including mapping workflows and implementing efficiency and quality enhancements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, build reports, and support strategic and operational decisions.
- Foundational Finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance and profitability.
- Experience in retail, luxury goods, or consumer products is highly beneficial.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities, with a collaborative, inclusive approach.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
