Mizo is scaling its presence among MSPs looking to automate their service desk with AI agents. The Marketing Specialist owns four connected pillars: marketing, lead generation, nurturing, and communication, and increasingly automates the systems behind all four.
This person turns Mizo's product story (ROI, automation, agentic workflows) into content and campaigns, brings new prospects into the funnel, keeps them engaged over time, and manages how Mizo shows up externally and internally. It's a hands-on role for someone who can plan, execute, and build the automation that makes the funnel run without manual babysitting, not just strategize.
Practically, that means: the same enrichment, scoring, and sequencing logic that used to live in someone's head or a spreadsheet gets built into tools like Pipedrive, your email/marketing platform, and light no-code automation (Zapier, Make, n8n, or equivalent). You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable configuring and wiring these systems yourself rather than waiting on a dev queue.
Key responsibilitiesLead generation
- Plan and run campaigns to generate new leads (content offers, landing pages, paid campaigns, webinars, events, partnerships with PSA/RMM vendors).
- Optimize the website and content for inbound lead capture (SEO, forms, lead magnets).
- Build and maintain lightweight lead scoring and routing rules so inbound and outbound leads are qualified against our ICP automatically, not through manual triage.
- Work with sales to Set up signal-based triggers (hiring signals, tech-stack changes, PSA migrations, content engagement) that flag in-market prospects and route them into the right sequence.
- Work with Sales to define what a qualified lead looks like and track volume against pipeline targets.
- Test new channels and tactics to find scalable sources of top-of-funnel leads.
Nurturing
- Design and run automated lead nurturing sequences (email drip campaigns, retargeting, lifecycle content) for prospects at different stages of the funnel, in collaboration with the sales team.
- Build nurture flows for existing clients to support retention, upsell, and advocacy (case studies, testimonials, referrals), in collaboration with the CS team.
- Segment audiences (MSPs by size, tooling, maturity) to personalize nurture content, using enrichment data rather than manual list building.
- Work closely with Sales and Onboarding to hand off warm leads and close the loop on what's converting, with automatic handoff triggers .
Marketing
- Own the marketing content calendar: blog posts, case studies, one-pagers, comparison content (Mizo vs traditional automation/RPA), and website updates.
- Refine Mizo's positioning and messaging based on customer insights and market trends in the MSP/agentic AI space.
- Plan and execute campaigns around launches, new integrations, and features.
- Track marketing performance (traffic, engagement, content performance) and iterate, with dashboards that pull automatically from source tools rather than manual reporting.
Communication
- Manage external communication channels: social media , newsletters, press/PR opportunities, and community engagement.
- Coordinate internal communication around GTM initiatives so Sales, Onboarding, and Product are aligned on messaging and timing.
- Maintain brand voice consistency across all client and prospect touchpoints.
- Support event and partnership communication (webinars, MSP community events, co-marketing with partners like PSA/RMM vendors).
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in marketing, demand generation, ideally B2B SaaS.
- Experience building nurture/lifecycle campaigns and lead generation campaigns using CRM and marketing automation tools (email platforms, Pipedrive or similar CRM, landing page builders).
- Working comfort with no-code/low-code automation tools (Claude, Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar) to connect campaigns, enrichment, and CRM data without relying on engineering support.
- Comfortable owning both the strategy and the execution; this is not a purely strategic role.
- Familiarity with the MSP/IT services industry or willingness to ramp up quickly.
- Self-starter comfortable in an early-stage environment where GTM processes are still being built.
