Role Overview
As an Oracle CPQ Developer, you will serve as a technical lead responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining complex Configure, Price, and Quote solutions within the Oracle ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, business analysts, and key stakeholders to translate intricate sales requirements into robust, automated cloud workflows. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of the clients sales operations, ensuring seamless integration between CPQ processes and broader enterprise systems to enhance user experience and business scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and configure Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions to meet complex business requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability for global sales teams.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated BML (BigMachines Language) scripts and advanced configuration rules to automate pricing logic and product modeling.
- Integrate Oracle CPQ with CRM and ERP systems using Oracle Integration Cloud to ensure data consistency and streamlined lead-to-cash processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical bottlenecks within the CPQ environment, providing timely support to maintain system uptime and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document technical specifications and translate business needs into functional system enhancements.
- Conduct thorough unit testing and performance tuning to ensure that all deployments meet quality standards and business objectives.
Required Skillset
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end implementation and customization of Oracle CPQ Cloud, including advanced configuration, commerce, and document engine settings.
- Proven ability to design and manage complex integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud to connect cloud and on-premise applications.
- Strong proficiency in BML and BML-based scripting, with a deep understanding of data structures and API-based integrations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a distributed, remote team environment.
- Strong analytical mindset to solve complex business logic problems and a proactive approach to continuous system improvement.
- Minimum of 7 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Oracle CPQ development and related cloud technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple project workstreams independently while maintaining high standards of code quality and documentation in a remote setting.
