We are partnering with a company in the Burlington/Waltham, MA area who is looking to add an Interim CFO to their team. This consulting opportunity will provide executive financial leadership, oversee the accounting and finance function, and partner with executive leadership during a critical transition period. The ideal candidate will have prior CFO experience and hands-on experience with Sage Intacct. This position has potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to executive management
- Oversee all accounting and finance operations
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and present financial statements and executive reporting packages
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and liquidity
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Lead process improvements and optimize financial operations
- Serve as the primary finance partner to executive leadership during the interim engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior CFO or Interim CFO experience required
- Must be readily available to interview & start a new position
- Sage Intacct experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and business partnering skills
- CPA preferred but not required
Compensation: $125-$150/hour depending on experience
