About the Role The Chief Financial Officer is accountable for financial strategy, planning, budgeting, cash management, accounting integrity, controls, reporting, tax coordination, risk management, capital readiness, and transaction support. The CFO gives the CEO and the executive team a dependable financial view of the company and translates strategic choices into clear economic consequences. The CFO serves as the company's principal financial advisor and strategic business partner to the CEO. While the CEO establishes enterprise strategy, capital priorities, and final transaction decisions, the CFO provides financial analysis, governance, risk assessment, recommendations, and disciplined financial execution that enable informed executive decision-making. The CFO partners across the Executive Leadership Team to ensure financial integrity, capital readiness, and sustainable enterprise growth. This Position Will Entail
What You’ll Do
- Translate enterprise strategy, the Path to $53M in 2026, and the planned exit into an integrated financial plan with assumptions, milestones, scenarios, and funding requirements.
- Own annual planning, rolling forecasts, budgets, cash-flow projections, liquidity management, runway analysis, and variance reporting.
- Ensure timely, accurate accounting, reconciliations, close procedures, financial statements, management reporting, and audit-ready records.
- Establish scalable financial governance, including banking, treasury, procurement, payment approvals, contracting, payroll inputs, equity administration, financial policies, internal controls, and enterprise financial compliance.
- Model deal economics, pricing, margins, commissions, delivery costs, renewals, and enterprise profitability in partnership with Revenue and Operations.
- Lead financial readiness for fundraising, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, litigation funding, intellectual property valuation, licensing transactions, due diligence, and future exit opportunities.
- Manage relationships with banks, accountants, tax advisers, insurance providers, investors, funders, and financial counterparties.
- Report clearly to the CEO on cash, runway, revenue, collections, expenses, forecast, risks, capital needs, and decisions.
Enterprise Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on enterprise growth, investment priorities, capital strategy, and long-term value creation.
- Contribute to enterprise-wide decision-making beyond the finance function, balancing financial discipline with innovation and growth.
- Build financial transparency across the organization by helping leaders understand the financial implications of strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.
Executive Partnership & Collaboration
- Partner with COO on budgets, operating plans, cost discipline, deadlines, and corrective action
- Partner with CRO on validating deal economics, pricing, margins, commissions, collective assumptions, and forecast integration
- Partner with Technology to evaluate investment priorities, infrastructure costs, software capitalization, delivery economics, and scalable operating models.
- Partner with CHRO on payroll input and people headcount budgeting, and equity records
- Partner with GC on coordinating financial terms, controls, risk, tax, and approval requirements
Desired Skills Qualifications
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required. MBA, Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive leadership role.
- Experience leading financial strategy, capital planning, forecasting, governance, and organizational scaling within a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or technology environment.
Certifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or MBA is strongly preferred.

Compensation
