Most candidates never get interviewed. They don't make it past the resume screen, so no one ever hears what they can actually do.
Cayde makes the first round cheap enough that hiring teams can interview far more people. Interviews run asynchronously, evaluated against criteria the team defines, with every score traced back to what the candidate actually said.
Cayde is part of Codeit, a Korean talent infrastructure company that grew from edtech into hiring technology. Roughly $27M revenue this year and profitable, so we're not building against a runway.
As our first business hire in North America, you'll work directly with the founders to build our presence here from the ground up. The role is based in downtown Toronto. This is a hands-on GTM role spanning sales, marketing, and customer success, and you'll be the bridge between our product team in Korea and our customers in Canada and the US.
What you'll do
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Run discovery calls, product demos, and commercial conversations with enterprise and SMB prospects
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution
- Develop partnerships with recruiting firms, HR service providers, and ATS vendors
- Lead early-stage B2B marketing and customer acquisition
- Write and refine marketing materials, pitch decks, and product messaging
- Build and manage content across LinkedIn, our website, and email
- Own early customer onboarding and build our support playbooks from scratch
- Run customer discovery conversations to understand local hiring challenges and market dynamics
- Turn what you learn into input for the product roadmap
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in business development, B2B SaaS sales, growth marketing, or early-stage startups
- Native English proficiency with strong writing. You'll be producing customer-facing content, not just reviewing it
- Commercial judgment and a high level of ownership, and comfort operating without much structure
- Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers
- Able to work with a product team in Korea, including some overlap with Korean business hours
Nice to have
- Experience in HR tech, recruiting technology, or AI products
- Early team member at an early-stage startup
- Experience running customer discovery or market research in North America
What we offer
- Strong ownership of the North American business as our first hire here
- Direct work with the founding team on growth and strategy
- $90,000–$140,000 CAD depending on experience
Details
- Full-time, on-site in downtown Toronto
- Industry: AI / HR tech / B2B SaaS
