Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute short-term and long-term revenue growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue targets and performance metrics.
Drive market expansion efforts across existing and new territories.
Identify and evaluate new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, and growth opportunities.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer demand to inform strategic decisions.
Lead initiatives that improve customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Provide executive leadership to all sales functions, including inside sales, field sales, channel sales, and strategic partnerships.
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing sales leadership teams.
Create scalable sales structures, compensation programs, and performance management systems.
Establish and monitor sales KPIs, conversion metrics, and forecasting accuracy.
Drive accountability throughout the sales organization while fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with Operations, Installation, Finance, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment from customer acquisition through project completion.
Oversee sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, CRM strategy, and business intelligence reporting.
Utilize data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and revenue performance.
Develop accurate forecasts and provide regular reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve overall sales productivity and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain relationships with financing partners, installers, utilities, referral partners, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders.
Evaluate and negotiate strategic partnership opportunities that drive growth and market expansion.
Collaborate with executive leadership to support mergers, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives when applicable.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Management, or a related field
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in revenue-generating roles
7+ years of executive-level leadership experience with direct accountability for revenue performance
Extensive experience in the solar or renewable energy industry
Proven success leading multi-state sales organizations with revenues exceeding established growth targets
Demonstrated ability to scale sales teams, enter new markets, and increase profitability
Strong expertise in sales operations, forecasting, business intelligence, and revenue analytics
Experience managing large sales organizations, including remote and geographically dispersed teams
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
