A major enterprise organization, is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to provide operational support to sales management. This role plans and coordinates projects that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization, develops processes and procedures that support the sales process, and helps maintain the data and systems behind sales performance metrics.
This is a unified analyst role spanning Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process support, SAP SD/MM administration, and Salesforce support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable collaborating across Sales, Operations, and Finance in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support to sales management and help plan/coordinate projects that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization
- Develop processes and procedures that support the sales process, and contribute to requirements for sales support systems
- Maintain sales activity data that supports performance metrics and process improvement
- Manage the evaluation pool and track related workflow
- Coordinate with legal on drafting documents, with finance on approvals, and with sales reps to move items forward — tracking progress throughout
- Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs)
- Perform daily updating and tracking of orders, including internal orders processed through SAP
- Support a recurring quarterly project focused on backlog and aging orders
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) process — quote creation, order fulfillment, billing, and revenue recognition
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable reviewing data, building pivot tables, and using VLOOKUP and similar functions
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience; a university degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Functional experience with SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Material Management) — standard transactions such as MM01, XD01, VA01, and VF01; SAP is trainable for a strong candidate without direct experience
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, IDocs, BAPIs, or other integration mechanisms, including support for enhancements, data migration, or post-go-live stabilization
- Salesforce administration experience, particularly Lightning UI and Sales Cloud — managing user permissions, custom fields/reports, and data hygiene; familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader; exposure to Salesforce CPQ is a plus
- Experience supporting data migration, imports/exports, and data validation during system go-lives
- Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-disciplinary teams with initiative and adaptability in ambiguous or changing environments
- Awareness of compliance and data governance best practices related to master data and revenue recognition is a plus, though not required
