Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations with energy and precision. The CFO will drive fiscal management, oversee financial planning, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including long-term planning and risk management.
- Direct the fiscal functions of the Agency in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations
- Supervise and coordinate the fiscal operations of the agency including purchasing, accounting, and payroll.
- Lead financial analysis efforts—interpreting financial statements, conducting profit & loss reviews, and developing financial projection models for strategic decision-making.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense control initiatives, and cost management strategies to promote fiscal responsibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance leadership roles such as finance directorship or senior management within complex organizations.
- Demonstrated success in risk analysis, regulatory compliance (including governmental accounting), and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing finance teams; capable of fostering collaboration across departments.
- Deep understanding of industry-specific financial regulations and industry knowledge of nonprofit accounting practices is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic plans based on thorough market analysis and financial forecasting analysis.
