Under administrative supervision, the Business Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of operational activities, resource management, productivity and financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. These responsibilities include management of assigned staff; ensuring the orderly and efficient delivery of services; coordination of information systems; management of equipment and supplies; vendor relations and contract management; developing, monitoring, and analyzing financial, productivity, and quality measures; development and implementation of budgets; oversight of billing, revenues, and expenditures; project management; and compliance with applicable legal and accreditation standards within the department. There may be limited coordination of operations of the department with other departments in the organization. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Healthcare.

- Ensures licensure and accreditation requirements are met; prepares for and represents the department during regulatory reviews and surveys.
- Oversees equipment maintenance, calibration, and product trials; ensures inventory control and compliance with certification standards.
- Develops and monitors operating and capital budgets; verifies billing accuracy and promotes cost-effective resource utilization.
- Serves as liaison for purchasing and contract negotiations; supports Value Analysis processes and committee representation.
- Manages vendor relationships; adheres to conduct policies; provides financial/statistical reports and trend analysis.
- Identifies staff development needs; organizes training; ensures scheduling, communication, and adherence to service standards.
- Collaborates across disciplines to enhance programs; integrates research, technology, and new interventions into operations.
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Hospital Administration, or Related field
- Three (3) years of professional, progressive healthcare experience including financial analysis.
- Proficient in using computer applications for analyzing data, communicating, and producing reports.
