About the Role
Seeking an experienced CFO/Accounting Advisory professional to manage a portfolio of business clients, provide tax and financial advisory services, and lead Client Managers. This is a senior-level individual contributor and team leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and close processes.
- Prepare and review federal and state business and individual tax returns.
- Provide proactive tax planning and financial advisory services.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for business owners and client escalations.
- Lead client meetings and provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Client Managers.
- Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Support complex and multi-entity structures, including S-Corps, partnerships, and real estate entities.
Qualifications:
- Public accounting experience with tax preparation and financial statement review.
- CPA or EA preferred; highly experienced professionals without a designation may be considered.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and professional tax software such as UltraTax CS.
- Experience with construction, real estate, or manufacturing clients preferred.
- Experience with multi-entity and complex business structures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple engagements.
