With ambitious growth plans and significant investments across its businesses, Calinova is entering a phase of scaling, institutionalising, and preparing for the capital markets.
As part of its strategic growth plan, Calinova is targeting approximately ₹4,500 Crore of investments over the next four years, alongside aggressive expansion across its business portfolio. The Group is preparing for a potential IPO within the next four years and is building a world-class leadership team to support this journey.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an exceptionally strong, strategic and commercially oriented Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function across all entities of the Calinova Group. The CFO will be a core member of the Group leadership team, working closely with the Promoters, Board, investors, lenders and business leadership to shape financial strategy, capital structure, governance and long-term value creation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the Group’s long-term financial strategy aligned with its aggressive growth plans.
- Lead IPO and capital-market readiness, including IPO-grade reporting, controls, governance, due diligence and stakeholder coordination.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and Board-level reporting across all Group entities.
- Develop integrated financial models supporting the ₹4,500 Cr investment roadmap.
- Lead debt and equity fundraising and develop optimal capital structures across businesses and projects.
- Manage relationships with banks, institutional investors, PE funds, family offices, NBFCs and other financial institutions.
- Provide financial leadership for data-centre and digital-infrastructure investments, including project finance, CapEx modelling, IRR/NPV analysis and financing structures.
- Lead financial evaluation, due diligence, valuation and structuring for M&A, investments and strategic partnerships.
- Build robust Group-wide governance, internal controls, treasury, tax, audit, compliance and risk-management frameworks.
- Build and lead a high-calibre finance organisation across FP&A, controllership, treasury, taxation, corporate finance, investor relations and risk.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 15+ years of relevant professional experience, with significant senior finance leadership exposure.
- Previous experience as CFO / Group CFO / Deputy CFO / Finance Director of a high-growth organisation strongly preferred.
- IPO experience is highly preferred, especially experience taking an organisation through IPO preparation/listing.
- Proven experience managing complex multi-entity corporate structures.
- Strong exposure to infrastructure, technology, digital infrastructure or data-centre businesses.
- Experience managing significant CapEx programmes and complex financing structures.
- Demonstrated fundraising, M&A, corporate finance and institutional investor experience.
- International or global investor exposure will be an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
- CA / CPA / ACCA / CFA / MBA Finance or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, Companies Act, taxation, SEBI regulations and corporate governance.
- International financial reporting / IFRS exposure will be an advantage.
