Chief Financial Officer for a private equity backed pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing platform with operations in New Jersey, the Chicago area and Canada.
We are seeking a hands on, plant oriented financial executive who can partner with the CEO, General Managers and operating teams to drive measurable improvements in profitability, cash generation and enterprise value.
The CFO will oversee a strong existing finance infrastructure and lead finance across three manufacturing operations. Key priorities will include:
• Partnering with operating leadership on revenue generation, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
• Leading cash flow, liquidity management and forecasting
• Managing budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and Board reporting
• Maintaining strong relationships with the private equity sponsor, lenders and other financial stakeholders
• Overseeing debt covenant compliance, audit, tax, insurance and banking relationships
• Providing reliable operating and financial data that improves decision making at the plant and executive levels
• Supporting long term strategic planning and significant growth investments
The platform has substantial upside. A major investment is underway to expand sterile injectable manufacturing capacity at the New Jersey operation, creating a significant opportunity for growth and EBITDA expansion over the next several years.
The ideal candidate will bring significant financial leadership experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical contract manufacturing or a closely related environment. We are particularly interested in executives who can point to specific examples of using finance to improve operations, reduce costs, enhance liquidity and create value. Prior private equity experience is attractive but not required.
The CFO can be based in New Jersey or in the Chicago area and should expect regular travel among the company's three operating locations.
The compensation package includes a highly competitive base salary, annual performance bonus and meaningful management equity participation.
