Lear Capital is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our sales organization.
Please note: This is a fully on-site position in Los Angeles. Candidates should live within approximately a 30-minute commute of the office.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales, the Sales Operations Coordinator provides hands-on operational and administrative support to a team of more than 35 sales representatives. The role supports sales reporting, transaction coordination, database maintenance, recruiting coordination, and other day-to-day operational needs of the sales organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with data and reports, attentive to detail, and enjoys being a dependable operational resource in a fast-paced sales environment.

What You'll Do
Sales Operations & Reporting
• Support the daily operational needs of a 35+ person sales team.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute recurring sales performance, activity, and operational reports.
• Update and manage reporting spreadsheets using data from internal systems and databases.
• Track sales activity, pipeline information, performance metrics, incentives, and other operational data.
• Review reporting data for accuracy and investigate discrepancies before reports are finalized.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain sales and operational records.
• Assist the Senior Director of Sales with reporting, correspondence, scheduling, and administrative coordination.
• Help identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, organization, and operational efficiency.
Metals Trade Support
• Communicate with metals providers to confirm purchases and buyback transactions.
• Assist with trade-related administrative processes and documentation.
• Maintain accurate transaction information and related records.
• Develop a working knowledge of precious metals products, pricing, and operational procedures.
Communication & Process Documentation
• Assist with communicating process updates, policy changes, and operational announcements to the sales organization.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and sales reference materials.
• Utilize available tools and technology to organize and maintain operational knowledge resources.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate, current, and easily accessible to team members.
Administrative & Customer Support
• Monitor shared customer-care communications and respond or route inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Track follow-up items and escalate issues when necessary.
• Follow up on administrative requests and status updates.
• Provide general administrative support to the Senior Director of Sales and sales organization as needed.
• Maintain a professional, responsive, and service-oriented approach when interacting with customers and internal teams.
Recruiting & Employee Coordination
• Assist with initial applicant screening and interview coordination.
• Coordinate candidate assessments, interview scheduling, and related documentation.
• Support new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities.
• Maintain related departmental records and employee information as needed.
Qualifications
Required
• 3+ years of experience in sales operations, financial services operations, transaction support, sales administration, or a similar operational support role.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with formulas, sorting/filtering, data validation, lookups, and maintaining recurring operational reports.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong follow-through and ability to work independently within established processes.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer-service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and departments.
Preferred Experience
• Experience supporting a sales organization or senior sales leader.
• Experience creating and maintaining operational or performance reports.
• Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, or training materials.
• Exposure to precious metals, commodities, financial services, mortgage, escrow, banking, brokerage, or other transaction-based environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools such as ChatGPT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
• Base Salary: $65,000–$72,000 annually, depending on experience
• Performance-based bonus opportunity
