About Atyourtime GroupAtyourtime Group is building a portfolio of technology-led businesses focused on creating greater trust, accountability and verification across physical and digital transactions.
Our businesses include Atyourtime Secured Food Delivery, our consumer delivery platform built around secure chain-of-custody and verified handovers, and Atyourtime Technology, our B2B technology business providing verification infrastructure, API-first solutions and enterprise technology services.
Alongside these businesses, we are developing a wider technology ecosystem supporting growth, customer acquisition, content, data, automation and commercial operations.
As we move from product development towards commercialisation, market launch and external investment, we are looking for an experienced Group Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team and help lead the next stage of our journey.
The OpportunityThis is not simply an accounting role.
We are looking for a commercially minded and strategically strong CFO who can work closely with the Founder & CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team across fundraising, financial strategy, investor readiness, commercialisation, governance and long-term value creation.
A major immediate priority will be supporting the Group's fundraising strategy and ensuring that the businesses, financial models, investment materials, data room and underlying financial governance are ready for institutional and strategic investors.
The successful candidate will also help build the financial infrastructure required to support the transition from an early-stage technology group into a scalable, revenue-generating organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Investor Readiness
Lead the financial workstream supporting the Group's fundraising strategy, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, investment scenarios, use-of-funds planning, investor due diligence and funding structures.
Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on investor engagement, fundraising preparation and negotiations, and ensure that the Group maintains a credible, accurate and investment-ready financial data room.
Support discussions with UK and international investors, including institutional investors, family offices, venture capital, strategic investors and other appropriate sources of growth capital.
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and own the Group's financial strategy, long-range financial plan, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow models and scenario planning.
Create robust financial models across the Group and its operating businesses, including unit economics, revenue models, customer acquisition economics, pricing, margins and growth scenarios.
Provide the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team with clear financial insight to support strategic and commercial decisions.
Commercial Finance
Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure commercial decisions are supported by sound financial analysis.
Develop appropriate financial models for Atyourtime's B2C, B2B, SaaS, API, enterprise and other revenue streams.
Establish appropriate commercial KPIs covering areas such as revenue, gross margin, cash runway, burn rate, customer acquisition, lifetime value and operating performance.
Group Financial Governance
Establish and maintain appropriate financial controls, reporting standards, approval authorities and governance across Atyourtime Group and its operating entities.
Work closely with Legal and the Company Secretary on matters relating to corporate structure, equity, shareholder matters, investment transactions and governance.
Ensure appropriate oversight of tax, statutory accounts, Companies House requirements, external accountants, banking and other financial service providers.
Cash, Treasury & Risk
Own Group cash-flow management, treasury planning, financial risk management and working-capital strategy.
Maintain clear visibility of runway and funding requirements and ensure that management receives early warning of emerging financial risks.
Support the development of appropriate financial controls around payments, supplier commitments, procurement and expenditure.
Building the Finance Function
Design the finance operating model required for the Group's next stage of growth.
Establish scalable systems, processes, reporting and controls capable of supporting multiple entities, products and revenue streams.
Build and lead the wider finance function as revenue and funding allow the organisation to expand.
What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a seasoned CFO or senior finance leader who combines strong financial discipline with an entrepreneurial and commercially pragmatic mindset.
You should ideally bring experience within technology, SaaS, fintech, marketplaces, platform businesses, logistics, food delivery or another high-growth environment.
Experience of fundraising and investor engagement is particularly important. You should be comfortable building and defending financial models, participating in investor discussions, supporting valuation and transaction negotiations and leading financial due diligence.
Previous experience working with founders, Boards and early-stage or scale-up businesses would be highly advantageous.
Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are desirable, although demonstrable experience, judgement and commercial capability will be equally important.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can operate at both strategic and hands-on level. At our current stage, the CFO must be equally comfortable discussing funding strategy with investors and getting into the detail of a financial model, cash-flow forecast or commercial assumption.
Important: Equity-Only RolePlease read this section carefully before applying.
This is currently an equity-only executive position. There is no salary or cash remuneration attached to the role at this stage.
The successful candidate will participate in the long-term value creation of Atyourtime Group through an agreed equity arrangement, subject to the Group's applicable vesting terms and formal documentation.
The intention is to transition executive roles towards appropriate salary arrangements as the business achieves sufficient revenue and/or external funding.
We therefore encourage applications only from candidates who fully understand and are comfortable joining at this stage on an equity-only basis.
Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to join Atyourtime at an important point in its development.
Much of the technology foundation has already been built. Our focus is increasingly shifting towards commercialisation, market entry, strategic partnerships, fundraising and scale.
The Group CFO will have the opportunity to work directly with the Founder & CEO and Executive Leadership Team and play a significant role in shaping not simply the finance function, but the capital strategy, commercial model and long-term direction of the Group.
If you are an experienced finance leader who enjoys building, understands the realities of an entrepreneurial environment and wants to help turn ambitious technology businesses into commercially sustainable and investable companies, we would be interested in speaking with you.
To apply: Please submit your CV together with a short note outlining your relevant CFO/finance leadership experience, fundraising experience and why an equity-stage opportunity is of interest to you.
