We have been engaged to assist our client, a highly respected and well-established professional services organization, in its search for a Chief Financial Officer. Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware, the organization provides specialized administrative, financial, and operational services within a complex, highly regulated environment.
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and strategic business partner to the CEO and COO, overseeing the organization’s accounting and finance functions. The CFO will play an important role in strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, pricing and cost allocation, while also serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience, including significant management responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software used for reporting, modeling, and data analysis; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and translate findings into meaningful business insights.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial systems, processes, and controls, including the ability to evaluate technology and process improvements from a long-term ROI perspective.
