For our client, we are seeking a Business Operations Director to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This leader will own strategic business operations that improve how the organization plans, executes, and scales across the enterprise.
The role will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to translate complex business challenges into durable operating models and governance.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategy, analytics, and organizational influence to help drive data-informed decisions and operational effectiveness.
Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $229,000 – $255,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Apply first-principles problem solving to deconstruct complex challenges and create scalable operating models.
- Drive an AI-first approach by reimagining workflows and designing AI-powered operating systems.
- Embed data-driven decision making into planning, operational reviews, and performance management.
- Demonstrate change agility by helping leaders navigate evolving business priorities effectively.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from identification to implementation, driving alignment across organizations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on strategic planning and operational effectiveness.
- Design scalable processes and governance models to reduce friction and enhance long-term business leverage.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, strategy, or transformation within enterprise B2B technology organizations.
- Proven success leading strategic initiatives and influencing executive decision-making without formal authority.
- Experience designing scalable operating models or governance mechanisms with measurable impact.
- Deep analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive insights and recommendations.
- Experience applying AI technologies to redesign workflows and improve organizational effectiveness.
