We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to continue to develop and embed sound financial systems and processes, in line with all regulatory, DfE and financial requirements.
Our Trust currently has five schools, six sites, in the North Cotswolds.
The position requires the successful candidate to hold an appropriate accounting qualification, for example: AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or be qualified by experience. It is desirable that the successful candidate has experience in an educational setting.
Our CFO will work very closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Trust Directors to help shape the strategic vision for our MAT. They will work with the Trust Business Manager and Finance Officer in the day-to-day financial operations, and will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing our financial policies and procedures to ensure effective, efficient and compliant Trust financial management in line with the Academy Trusts Handbook.
The position is Part time: 18 hrs a week, 52 weeks a year, with 25 days annual leave (+ statutory bank holidays) Salary is Scale point 40-41 (£52,413 - £54,143 pro rata) depending on experience.
