Paragon Central Europe is entering an exciting new phase. Five national organisations across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria and Switzerland have recently come together as one integrated region, representing €230m+ in annual revenue and around 630 employees.
As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our Central Europe Board and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of the region.
Reporting directly to the CEO Central Europe, with a functional relationship to the Group CFO, you will be much more than the steward of the numbers.
You will be a genuine strategic and commercial partner to the CEO, COO and wider leadership team — translating growth ambitions into robust financial plans, providing insight for critical business decisions and ensuring the organisation has the financial infrastructure, discipline and governance needed for its next stage of development.
Your remit will span:
• Strategic financial leadership and business partnering
• Financial planning, forecasting, reporting and control
• Cash flow, working capital, treasury and financing
• Commercial decision-making, investment cases and cost efficiency
• Governance, legal, risk and regulatory compliance across five countries
• Finance transformation, process improvement and systems investment
• M&A, restructuring and integration initiatives where relevant
• Building and developing a high-performing regional finance team
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has successfully navigated growth, transformation or multi-country integration and knows how to combine financial rigour with commercial pragmatism. Beyond your experience, we are looking for a connecting, principled leader: approachable and down-to-earth, decisive when required, commercially minded and able to translate financial complexity into clear guidance for non-financial stakeholders.
You will bring:
• 12–15+ years of senior finance experience, with substantial experience as a CFO or in a comparable end-responsible role
• Experience in an outsourced, business services, staffing, facilities or other people-intensive environment is highly relevant
• A track record of operating in and scaling an organisation of broadly €100m–€300m revenue
• Strong technical expertise across accounting, control, tax and treasury, combined with commercial and strategic acumen
• International, multi-country experience, ideally including knowledge of the German, Dutch and/or Belgian markets
• Board-level experience or experience working closely with Executive and Supervisory Boards
• Experience with transformation, M&A, restructuring or multi-country integration is an advantage
• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent is a strong plus
• Native German or Dutch and fluent English

Location: Flexible within the Central Europe region, with regular travel, mainly to Germany and the Netherlands.
